I am a recent leukemia survivor, so this topic is very meaningful to me. My wife and I would often say "cancer is dumb" when things were tough. Laughter is the best medicine, and helped us get through some very difficult times. I am an elementary school teacher and I feel comfortable wearing this message anywhere. My type of leukemia (ALL) is a widespread pediatric cancer. I couldn't imagine children going through the same treatment I have gone through. This is why St Jude is such an important cause for me.
